Øyvind Normann

Øyvind Normann's core competence is contact with authorities, organisational development and strategic positioning, with experience from the fishing industry, retail, tourism and the Norwegian Labor Party.

In the past, Øyvind has worked for both Buskerud Arbeiderparti and AUF, most recently as a communications advisor in the run-up to the election. He worked with Public Affairs in Geelmuyden Kiese before joining WergelandApenes, gaining experience in areas such as the fishing industry, health technology and crisis communication. Øyvind was also hired out for six months as industry director for Virke Reiseliv.

Through his position as industry director, Øyvind assisted tourism companies with practical, financial and legal issues through the Covid-19 shutdown from December 2021, and has represented the industry in international cooperative organisations and in political work. In addition, the position consisted of leading and coordinating two boards for tourism in Virke, through arranging board meetings, preparing and setting the agenda for meetings, and preparing a strategy for their further work.

Øyvind has a degree in political science from the University of Oslo, and has previously been a member of Operation Dagsverk's Main Committee and later sat on the board of the same organisation, the board of European Students in Oslo, and he has held a board position in AUF in Buskerud for many years.
