Nicklas Storeng Smelror is a Senior Advisor at WergelandApenes, with more than 15 years of experience in the media and communications industry.

His core areas of expertise include strategic communications, media relations, messaging, brand building and crisis communications.

Nicklas has a background at TV 2, where he progressed from a news journalist to several key leadership positions in editorial and digital news production. His roles have included news editor, managing editor, editorial manager and head of reporting for TV 2’s 18:30 and 21:00 news broadcasts. He also has extensive experience as a communications advisor.

At WergelandApenes, Nicklas works with the development and implementation of communications and brand strategies, strategic communications, messaging and crisis management. He has a particularly strong understanding of media dynamics, societal trends and how organisations can communicate effectively and commercially while maintaining high ethical standards.

Nicklas holds a degree in journalism from Gimlekollen School of Journalism and Communication and has completed Egmont’s Committed to Lead (CTL) leadership programme.
